Welcome to the website of Mind the Brain, the annual neuroscientific symposium of the Research Master Neuroscience & Cognition of Utrecht University. The upcoming edition will take place on the 14th and 15th of May 2013 at the University Medical Center Utrecht.
This symposium is a platform for anyone interested in Neuroscience, cognition or brain sciences, organized by a committee of 9 students of the Master’s program. As in previous years, the committee aims to invite international and Dutch keynote speakers to present their research. Additionally, students will get the chance to take part in this symposium by presenting their current research project in either a poster session or by giving an oral presentation. Information on this is available elsewhere on the website.
Currently, the organizing committee of 2013 has its hands full with the preparation and we are looking forward to compose a set of high standard keynote speakers in the field of neuroscience and cognition comparable to previous years. Keynote speakers such as Prof. B. Everitt from Cambridge University, Prof Dick Swaab from the University of Amsterdam and Prof Yehezkel Ben-Ari Mediteranean Institute of Neurobiology (INMED) from France have already shared their knowledge and made the previous editions a great success.
